Senior Product Manager Lighting (m-w-d)

Your Tasks

  • Definition of a successful portfolio strategy of luminaires and solutions for the Motion Picture industry (e.g. cinema and live entertainment)
  • Responsible for the definition of winning products and propositions derived from technical trends, customer and market demands and the translation into product requirements 
  • Creation of a product roadmap for the implementation of the portfolio strategy together with the BU Lighting Product Creation teams
  • Driving the development of new products or product updates together with the project team from idea to market launch
  • In charge for the successful market introduction of new products including launch materials, sales and customer trainings as well as supporting launch events and fair presentations in close collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams
  • Responsible for the product lifecycle management of the product portfolio by actively driving product updates, cost-downs and phase-outs to improve portfolio effectiveness
Your Profile

  • Engineering degree or degree in relevant studies such film, camera or media
  • Relevant technical experience - in the lighting industry, electronics or film industry
  • Several years experience in product management or technical marketing
  • Ability to collect and analyze market data, define value propositions 
  • Capability to translate value propositions into product concepts and requirements
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and autonomous way of working
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • High proficiency in written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally about 25%
