The LPM-1 perfectly complements ARRI’s ALEXA 35 Live camera and Live Production System LPS-1, adapting to individual operator needs and seamlessly integrating into professional live production workflows. Connecting via a viewfinder cable, it makes both of the camera's SDI outputs available to production.
Intuitive control at your fingertips
For quick, tactile control, the front of the monitor features four assignable user buttons and four rotary knobs that adjust contrast, color, brightness, and peaking. Together with the touchscreen display, they provide an intuitive interface and customizable picture settings.
Tally light for the talent
On the rear of the LPM-1 is a large talent tally that lights up in three different colors and is bright enough to be seen in all lighting conditions. Next to it is an integrated camera number display.
Tally lights for the operator
Further aiding the professional operator are three physical tally lights, positioned at the top of the monitor, which can supplement or replace the monitor overlay tally.
Flexible setup and fast input switching
Configure your LPM-1 using the responsive touchscreen or the buttons and joystick on the back of the monitor. A dedicated hardware button and optional on-screen control allow quick switching between inputs, keeping your workflow smooth and uninterrupted.
Comprehensive connectivity
The PWR 3-Pin Fischer connector supports 10–34 V power input, while the ARRI VF connector enables one-cable use with the flexible VF cable for ALEXA 35 Live. Additional interfaces include ETH for future applications, Tally IN for external triggering, and high-performance SDI IN 12G and SDI IN/OUT 12G ports for robust video signal management.
Versatile mounting options
The LPM-1 features a wide range of accessory and battery interfaces on strong but also replaceable stainless-steel plates. With 12 ARRI Pin-Lock 1/4" mounts around the frame and a 3/8" ARRI Pin-Lock on the back, plus two dedicated ARRI accessory interfaces compatible with RMB-7 and more, customization is effortless. A VESA 100-compatible M4 interface ensures secure mounting options. Powering is just as adaptable, with dual battery interfaces supporting bebob Amicro/Vmicro and Anton Bauer Triton systems.
Bright display in all conditions
Operators can always be sure of a clear image—even in full daylight—due to the high-bright display, wide viewing angle, accurate color rendition, and two sunhood options: a long sunhood for outdoor environments and a short, foldable sunhood for studios.
The 10-inch screen of the LPM-1 is an optimal size for live productions: big enough for accurate judging of focus, yet practical and unobtrusive on a tripod. Carefully designed menu screens and unobtrusive overlays make navigation and framing as easy as possible for the operator.
Enhanced monitoring includes button overlay and real-time status indicators for UB and rotary knobs. Visual aids such as Waveform, Zebra, False Color, Vectorscope, and Mono W/R/G/B are seamlessly overlayed on the live image, ensuring precise control and clarity during operation.
The familiar ARRI home screen has been updated for the larger LPM-1 display and shows all relevant camera information at a glance. When operating with local control, touching one of the five main exposure parameters will take users to a live image where they can make adjustments with a real-time preview.
The LPM-1 provides access to the complete camera menu for adjustment of any and all camera settings. The menu can be controlled via the touchscreen or physical buttons on the back of the monitor.
The integrated monitor menu enables direct adjustment of the monitor’s internal settings, providing streamlined access to configuration controls without interrupting the live feed. All menu elements are overlayed on the active image, allowing parameters to be adjusted and new settings seen in real time.
