With FW 4.5.3 the output of the L-Series Plus can be matched to the previous generation of L5-C and L7-C. Best results are achieved in CCT and HIS mode. Check out the user manual for more information.
Unfortunately, due to the new light engine and control electronics, an upgrade kit is not available for previous L-Series lights.
Apart from the default barndoor and spigot, all available accessories for previous L-Series lights can also be used with the L-Series Plus. Additionally, the SkyPanel remote can control the L-Series Plus through a USB connection.
The L-Series Plus utilizes the trusted and proven firmware and user interface system from the Classic SkyPanel, specifically an updated version 4.5.
With availabilty of L-Series Plus, the previous generation will be discontinued, limited availability while stock lasts.
L7-C Plus comes very close to the performance of the L10-C and there is also the alternative of the Orbiter Fresnel. L-Series Plus will only comprise L5 and L7 size models.
