The LPS-1 Live Production System is the fiber transmission system forming the backbone of the ALEXA 35 Live - Multicam System and consists of the Fiber Base Station (FBS) and Fiber Camera Adaptor (FCA).
We are pleased to announce the release of LPS-1 Software Update Package SUP 1.2.0. This update is compatible with all LPS-1 systems. Please review the release notes carefully, including the known issues section, and consult the Live Production System LPS-1 User Manual to ensure optimal operation.
LPS-1 Software Update Package SUP 1.2.0 provides new features and bug fixes:
- Camera Status overlay now replicates the viewfinder image and provides real-time camera information; can be looped back to AUX/TP input and sent to an additional monitor via Fiber Camera Adaptor.
- ALEXA 35 Live camera head with 4K UHD 12G SDI output now supports Single Link 3G outputs via web UI Video Matrix, enabling simultaneous distribution to 12G, HD, and Monitor outputs.
- Return Video Button behavior can be set to momentary mode via web UI, activating only while held.
- FCA Return Output SDI retains the last active video channel after power cycle or reboot.
- New shutdown procedure ensures ND filter is parked when powering down via FBS button.
