Seminar: ARRI Presents … New possibilities with ALEXA 35 Xtreme: ARRICORE and the beauty of slow motion

Thursday, November 20
3 – 4 p.m.
Seminar Room, CKK Jordanki Festival Center
Presenter: Florian Martin and Sean Dooley

Learn how the next-gen ARRICORE codec saves time and money, and how high-speed shooting gets truly extreme in Sensor Overdrive mode. Complementing the ALEXA 35 Xtreme is ARRICORE, a next-generation RGB codec that makes the highest image quality more affordable by reducing data rates. This seminar will show how switching to ARRICORE is easy, and how flexibility in post is maintained. New hardware in the ALEXA 35 Xtreme allows frame rates up to 330 fps at full dynamic range, while ARRICORE and a new Sensor Overdrive mode double the limit to 660 fps. The seminar will cover slow-motion shooting and how to get the best out of Sensor Overdrive. Attendees will also learn about a new postproduction plugin from ARRI that gives digital images the soul of analog film.
