We are pleased to announce the release of LPM-1 Software Update Package SUP 1.0.0.
New Features in SUP 1.0.0
This update is recommended for all LPM-1 monitors as it improves the overall user experience and introduces the following safeguards to power management in situations where the monitor is connected to the camera via a VF cable but not an RS cable:
- In the event of the power supply voltage approaching the limit of what the VF cable alone can deliver, warnings are shown as overlays on the monitor video.
- Should a low power supply voltage be detected, the backlight is automatically limited to a low level to reduce the power needing to be supplied through the cable.
