FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

  • Modular and lightweight ARRI cage system enhances the professional usability of Fujifilm’s new large-format camera
  • Versatile mounting and rigging options, with multiple NATO rails
  • Flexible top section for ARRI or Fujifilm handles, BUD base plate for tool-less setups, and new Lightweight Tripod Plate

December 18, 2025; Munich – ARRI announces new Pro Camera Accessories (PCA) for Fujifilm’s GFX ETERNA 55, equipping it for the demands of fast-paced professional sets. The ETERNA camera cage is built to ARRI’s stringent quality standards and comprises a two-part top plate, BUD base plate, and three side brackets. Compatible with ARRI and Fujifilm accessories, the modular cage system enables fast and easy camera builds that adapt to any shooting situation.

Like ARRI’s cages for the Sony BURANO, Canon C400, and Sony Venice Extension Mini, the Fujifilm ETERNA cage integrates NATO rails directly into the side brackets, providing maximum rigging flexibility and support for ARRI NATO accessories such as the NRC-2 clamp for wireless video transmitters.

The cage’s top section consists of a top plate with multiple mounting threads and a top-mounted NATO rail that secures the side brackets and provides an attachment point for rod clamps and other accessories. ARRI handles like the CCH-4 can be mounted to the top plate, which can be removed from the camera body’s dovetail interface to make way for the native Fujifilm handle, if required.

ARRI also offers a viewfinder adapter set that allows more varied and stable mounting of Fujifilm’s 5” onboard LCD monitor, extending the range of shooting styles accommodated by the ETERNA camera. The set includes a Rod Mounting Bracket RMB-8, Viewfinder Adapter VFA-4, and Viewfinder Cross Pipe, and can be used with the Fujifilm top handle or an ARRI handle, optionally customized with ARRI HEX extensions for personalized operating comfort.

Continuing ARRI’s new-generation concept for third-party camera support, the ETERNA base plate is designed as a BUD (Balance Utility Dovetail), ensuring tool-less compatibility with ALEXA 35 accessories, including SAM plates. This allows quick transitions to stabilized setups with ARRI CSS products such as the TRINITY 2 and ARTEMIS 2, or third-party gimbals like the MōVI and DJI Ronin 2.

The ARRI cage for ETERNA is offered in a Pro Set or a Basic Set, and also in Extended Pro or Extended Basic Sets that add handheld accessories such as a shoulder pad, rosette brackets, and 15 mm rods. The new Lightweight Tripod Plate LTP-1, enabling direct tripod mounting of the BUD via an integrated “Touch and Go 35” snap-plate, is included in the Basic Set and both Extended Sets.

ARRI Pro Camera Accessories provide the functionality and rugged durability that assistants rely on to get them through long, tough days on professional sets. Built to exacting tolerances from high-quality materials, they are designed by dedicated engineers and draw on more than a century of ARRI expertise.

Available to order now, the ARRI Support Set for Fujifilm GFX ETERNA 55 elevates the camera’s practical usability, allowing rental houses and owner-operators to continue using the ARRI-standard accessories that have been universally used and trusted on set for decades.
