We are pleased to introduce firmware version 1.1.0 for the ARRI Omnibar.
This update adds CRMX Linking Key support, light smoothing for control via the ARRI Omnibar Control App and the user interface, a new fixture information page, editable fixture names, improved color rendering, and enhanced Bluetooth stability and performance.
The latest ARRI Omnibar Control App version 1.2.0 is also available. It introduces project name display on the Omnibar screen, a new onboarding experience, a “Set default settings” option, improved connection stability and fixture synchronization, as well as further performance improvements and bug fixes. The screen also remains active while a firmware update is in progress.
In addition to updating via the ARRI Omnibar Control App, users can install the firmware using the Omnibar USB Flasher. This provides an additional update option for customers and service teams. The USB Flasher is currently available for Windows only, and the update process takes approximately the same amount of time using either method.
Please note that Omnibase firmware version 1.1.0-409427 or later is required. Please review the release notes before installing the firmware. We recommend that firmware updates are not performed during active production.
