The production team chose a cinema camera with a large lens to capture wingsuiters in the air. The ALEXA Mini was mounted on the SRH-360 – a combination that guarantees a super lightweight setup and steady images in cinematographic quality.

In a world premiere, NoGravity Films captured the first ever close-up footage of wingsuit flyers with a cinema camera, using ALEXA Mini on ARRI’s Stabilized Remote Head SRH-360. Even in extreme situations like an aerial shooting, this eco-friendly ultralight solution proved to be the winning choice for creating stabilized images while keeping a cinematographic quality.

Welcome to our Tech Talk series with Junior Lucano about the ARRI Stabilized Remote Heads SRH-3 and SRH-360. This introduction gives you an overview of the key features of both heads and their extensive compatibility with additional accessories and tools, including third-party lenses.

ARRI Stabilized Remote Heads offer a variety of movements and tilting options. They come with a tool-free mounting platform to allow quick mounting of the camera. Part one in the series shows what you need to do in order to guarantee perfectly stable images, without any vibrations.

The ARRI Remote Control Panel (RCP) allows you to control the SRH remotely, whether by hard wire or by internal or external radio modules. It can be ordered with three different joystick options and can save up to nine user profiles. On both sides of the RCP are LBUS connectors that can be used for various accessories.

Part four in the series is about the ARRI Iso Damper – a must-have for SRH users to absorb even the smallest of shocks and unwanted motions. This clip shows you how to mount the Iso Damper to the head.

The SRH Remote Control Panel offers default PID settings for low-dynamic or high-dynamic setups, which provide a starting point.
