The Rental Client Contact position is responsible for taking customer orders, sourcing equipment and insuring inventory is accurate and updated. Along with pulling and delivering orders in a timely manner. Knowledge of lighting rental equipment, terminology, and application as it applies to the Motion Picture and Television markets, including Traditional HMI and Incandescent Fixtures, Automated fixtures, LED fixtures (Orbiter, Skypanels, Astera Kits, and Litemats), Dimming and Control, Cable and Distribution etc
Main areas of responsibilities for this full-time role include:
- Taking orders with superior customer service
- Daily duties include but are not limited to; pulling orders, cleaning, and testing equipment before it leaves and on its return; load and unload trucks, clean and organize equipment in warehouse.
- Scanning barcodes, counting equipment in and out, working with Rental Software as directed.
- Plan and coordinate the day-to-day functions of rentals, which include customer service, job scheduling and coordinating current and future rentals with the VP of Automated Lighting and Co-workers.
- Process purchases and ensure all packing paperwork is given to the proper parties and all new inventory is added with help of ID inventory manager.
- Assist other personnel when necessary both as directed or as needed in all departments.
- Diligently follow all COVID safety procedures.

- Must have a solid well-rounded knowledge of the equipment.
- Must be able to communicate professionally and clearly with people.
- Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow and rental procedures.
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic and customer service driven
- Must be organized and have strong attention to detail
- Must maintain a valid Driver’s License, (Class B beneficial)
- Must have knowledge of equipment terminology, and application in markets we serve.
- Must be able to drive a forklift and other warehouse handling equipment
- Must be competent and comfortable driving pick-up, stake bed, and non-CDL box truck and willing to learn how to tow generators.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. The employee is frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit and operate a keyboard or sit and operate a forklift, climb or balance. Reaching above shoulder heights, and below the waist is frequently required. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally up to 95 pounds. Proper lifting techniques is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
