Dr. Michael Neuhaeuser

Dr. Michael Neuhaeuser, born in 1963, was appointed to the Executive Board of the ARRI Group in Munich, Germany, in September 2018. In this position, he is responsible for technology and operations of the globally active motion picture and media technology company. He studied electrical engineering at the Ruhr-University Bochum where he received his graduate degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in 1988. Afterwards, he worked as a researcher in the field of high-speed integrated circuits and received his doctorate in engineering (Dr.-Ing.) in 1995. In 2011, he also received a gratitude diploma from the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi in Romania. Michael Neuhaeuser started his industrial career in the electronics industry at Siemens Semiconductor in Villach, Austria, and subsequently took over the technical leadership at MICRAM Microelectronic in Bochum, Germany. From 1998 to 2018, he performed various management functions at Infineon Technologies in Germany and abroad. He was General Manager of Infineon Technologies Romania in Bucharest from 2009 until 2011. Most recently, Michael Neuhaeuser served as Vice President of Automotive Microcontroller Development at Infineon Technologies in Munich where he and his team developed the highly successful AURIX microcontroller product family which is used in every second car worldwide.

Dr. Joerg Pohlman

Dr. Joerg Pohlman, born in 1963, was appointed to the Executive Board of the ARRI Group in Munich, Germany, in October 2014. In this position, he is responsible for the operative business of the globally active motion picture media technology company, employing around 1,500 staff worldwide. Prior to joining ARRI, he was one of two Managing Directors of SGL Automotive Carbon Fibers, a newly founded joint venture between the BMW Group and the SGL Group with production facilities in the USA and Germany. From 1997 to 2010, he held various management positions within the BMW Group. Joerg Pohlman is a board member of the International Trade Association for Broadcast & Media Technology (IABM). He studied law in both Germany (University of Passau, Freiburg im Breisgau, Bonn) and the US (George Washington University). In 1998, he received a doctorate degree from Humboldt University Berlin. From 1994 to 1997, he worked as an attorney in Washington, DC.

Markus Zeiler

Markus Zeiler, born in 1974, was appointed to the Executive Board of the ARRI Group in Munich, Germany, in April 2019. In this position at the globally active motion picture and media technology company, he is responsible for the management of the group’s rental business. Markus Zeiler is a graduate physicist from the University of Regensburg, Germany, and the University of Reading, UK. In 2000, he started his professional career at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors as a development engineer for LED and sensor technology. After 10 years, Markus Zeiler accepted the position as General Manager at the start-up Optogan GmbH, to build up their international business. In January 2013, ARRI brought Markus Zeiler to Stephanskirchen, Germany, to co-manage their Lighting division. He has most recently been responsible for the expansion of digital LED technology and the successful introduction of the SkyPanel platform at ARRI. Over the last two decades, Markus Zeiler has aided in the conversion towards LED in the automotive, LCD backlighting, architectural, and film/TV industries. Before joining ARRI, he became certified as an architectural lighting designer and has been awarded 13 LED related patents throughout his career.
