At Sundance Film Festival “Sea of Shadows” by director and cinematographer Richard Ladkani won the Audience Award. Now the dramatic documentary thriller about Mexican cartels and Chinese traffickers, who join forces to poach the rare totoaba fish, is celebrated during its German premiere at the DOK.fest München.

Deutscher Kamerapreis

Eight cinematographers and three editors were awarded with the renowned German Camera Award (Deutscher Kamerapreis) in Cologne, with #ARRI as a sponsor. In 2019 the honorary prize went to Benedict Neuenfels (“Styx”). Christopher Aoun (“Capernaum”) was honored for the “Best Camera in a Feature Film.”
