The SRH vibration isolator uses hemispheres made of silicone placed as in a sandwich in the damper. The silicone responds with a very soft and slightly delayed movement to the incoming shocks and movements.
The design allows vertical movement, angular movement in roll and tilt, but keeps pan solid. Therefore, maximum power can be used on the pan axis when needed.
The strength of the damping and the maximum linear movement can be regulated by three setscrews.
An additional metric castle nut, which can remain in the damper, speeds up the setup time.
