ARRI Austria was founded in Vienna in 1986 as a research and development center for Arnold & Richter Cine Technik. ARRI Austria currently consists of a team of about 40 highly qualified engineers and technicians that work in four departments: ARRI Development, ARRI Production, Moviecam Service Center, and ARRI Rental.
The ARRI Development team develops the hugely successful line of ARRI film cameras, combining innovative technology with the experience gathered on projects such as the ARRIFLEX 765,
ARRIFLEX 435, ARRICAM Studio and Lite, ARRIFLEX 235 and ARRIFLEX 416 family. Additionally, the Development team works on a wide range of ARRI camera accessories.
The ARRI Production department manufactures and services ARRI camera accessories.
The Moviecam Service Center develops and manufactures upgrades for Moviecam cameras and accessories. In addition, the experienced staff provides service and support for Moviecam cameras.
ARRI Rental offers a wide range of analog and digital cameras and accessories for rent at the new facilities.
