The Wireless Compact Unit WCU-3 is an affordable all-in-one remote control for camera, focus and iris. With an optional bracket the Zoom Main Unit ZMU-3 can be attached.
Special attention has been paid to ergonomics and durability, with features like an adjustable handgrip, back lighted buttons, an illuminated index scale, optional cabled or wireless operation or sealed precision optical encoders for the hand controls. The same modern, back lighted TFT display that is used in iPods shows camera and lens status.
The WCU-3 directly communicates with the ARRICAM Studio, ARRICAM Lite, 435 Xtreme, 416 Plus and 416 Plus HS. With the help of the UMC-3 or UMC-3A, it also works with numerous other films and video cameras. The WMU-3 is powered by an affordable standard camcorder battery and is fully compatible with the existing ARRI Wireless Remote System WCU-3.
