With the STUDIO COOL Series ARRI Lighting offers a new generation of compact fluorescent lighting fixtures. Remarkable features of this STUDIO COOL Series are especially the hinged accessory holder or the possibility to insert the new generation of 80W* fluorescent lamps. From a classical version of a 4-tube fluorescent fixture for typical studio applications over a 2-tube model to a 2+2-tube model this Series covers the performance spectrum from 110-220 Watt (160-320W with 80W* tubes). All these 3 versions are available as “Multicontrol”, “Phase Control” and “Dual Switch”, whereas the “Multicontrol” describes the association of DMX, analog and manual dimming potentiometer on the back-side of the fixture. The greatest possible flexibility is realized by the detachable backside containing the complete electronics. This separation of luminary and electronic unit allows an easy service handling because the original fixture can be operated with another electronic unit. Furthermore the reflector with its 4 quick-turn fasteners can be removed in an easy and uncomplicated way. 2 different reflector types are available, a 120° beam angle reflector for a wider and a 90° beam angle reflector for a narrow light field.

A strict lightweight construction with rugged extruded aluminum parts leads to a tough and nevertheless lightweight fluorescent fixture. With quick connectors several STUDIO COOL fixtures can be assembled to a stack. The fixtures will be then connected with connector cables among one another (max. 12 tubes), so that only one power connection is necessary for the whole circuit. A many-sided offer of mounting possibilities and accessories are completing the range of services of the STUDIO COOL Series.
