ARRILASER HD

Laser quality at CRT price - the perfect solution to record HD material onto film.

The ARRILASER HD relies on the proven quality of the ARRILASER family, providing a new solution for video post production houses that like to expand their product range and for recording bureaus that need a separate machine to film out video or animation work.

This new member in the ARRILASER product family records onto camera negative film stock, adding the subtle and organic quality of film grain in a very



natural way to the resulting images. Digitally originated material will automatically achieve the desired and precious film look.

The ARRILASER HD comes as a comprehensive bundle of components needed to make film recording easy. The bundle includes the ARRI Color Management System (CMS) with its special profiles for camera negative, which will ensure an accurate reproduction of the video material on film. In addition it includes a very easy job setup, all necessary equipment for the recorder calibration (i.e. a densitometer), exact descriptions as well as workflow and application guidance. All this makes the ARRILASER HD an easy to use product, even for newcomers in the recording business.

The ARRILASER HD still delivers the same high quality at the same speeds as its siblings, since it uses the same underlying technology. Because of the higher sensitivity of camera negative it is possible to use less powerful lasers, resulting in a price comparable to CRT recorders.
