Color correction systems can easily reproduce the color processing steps between the Log C encoded signal and the final output. Thus, having the look available only as a concatenated 3D LUT would be limiting when the image with look needs to be tweaked, for example to match shots.
The AMIRA therefore presents the look parameters in several ways, which allows software developers to use whatever is the best fit for their color processing tools. The AMIRA look parameters are available as:
- Combined 3D LUT, generated from CDL and VLP or CDL and custom LUT.
- 3D LUT, generated from the VLP settings or the imported custom LUT without CDL parameters.
- ASC CDL parameters only.
