David Pinillos feature film debut, Bon Appetit, is yet another collaboration with producer Pedro Uriol and his Morena Films, who produced his short film Dolly three years ago. The Spanish production company Morena Films joined forces with Egoli Tossell Film from Germany and Zodiac Pictures from Switzerland. Responsible for the look of this award winning love story is DoP Aitor Mantxola.

Bon Appetit was shot digitally and ARRI Film & TV completed the digital dailies, the 2K online, the color correction (Colorist: Florian 'Utsi' Martin), the visual effects (Abraham Schneider), Title Design (Matthias Brauner), the HD Mastering and generated the release prints. For Warner Bros. Pictures it also created the digital cinema package. The film was shot on location in  Zurich, Bilbao and Munich on camera equipment (ARRIFLEX D-21) from ARRI Rental.

The romantic comedy, Bon Appetit, is about three cooks and one sommelier. It is about love, friendship and the question where life is supposed to take you. Hanna (Nora Tschirner) is a gifted sommelier and the lover of Thomas (Herbert Knaup), the restaurant owner. Then the ambitious Daniel (Unax Ugalde) arrives from Bilbao to pursue his career as a chef at this fancy Swiss restaurant. He's a close friend of Hugo (Giulio Berruti) from Italy.

When Daniel and Hanna get to know each other better, their lives get turned upside down. But only after a detour leading to Spain and Germany they come together and realize that in life you have to be prepared for everything - even the most beautiful things!
