From the acclaimed director Marc Rothemund (Sophie Scholl - The Final Days) comes the romantic comedy Groupies Don't Stay For Breakfast. Award winning DoP Martin Langer (Boxhagener Platz), who had previously collaborated with Marc Rothemund on several projects, was responsible for the cinematography. Filming took place in and around Berlin.

Groupies Don't Stay For Breakfast was produced by Ewa Karlström and Andreas Ulmke-Smeaton of SamFilm. Relying once again on team effort, the production company, also responsible for Rock It and The Wild Soccer Bunch, entrusted ARRI Film & TV with the entire postproduction: lab work and DI (Color Grader: Bianca Pieroth); 2D and 3D visual effects (VFX Supervisor: Denis Behnke; Head of 3D: Michael Koch); sound (Re-Recording Mixer: Tschangis Chahrokh-Zadeh), as well as TV mastering, the production of the Digital Cinema Package and the release prints for Disney.

By chance Lila (Anna Fischer) meets the charismatic Chriz (Kostja Ullmann) and falls head over heels in love with him. She has just returned to Berlin after spending a year in the United States, and is unaware that the band Berlin Mitte - especially lead singer Chriz - triggers mass hysteria among female fans in Germany. When she finally finds out who she's fallen in love with, bedlam ensues. Chriz, quite smitten with the unassuming girl as well, is constantly reminded by his manager Paul (Roman Knizka) that Groupies Don't Stay For Breakfast! while Lila has to fend off the press as well as jealous Berlin Mitte fans and their intrigues. Soon they have to make a decision and there's a lot on the line for both of them: for Lila it is her 'normal' life she so enjoys and for Chriz it is his career...

Digital Cinema Mastering at ARRI Film & TV   



Paul W.S. Anderson, the mastermind behind the Resident Evil franchise, wrote, directed and produced the apocalyptic thriller Resident Evil: Afterlife. DoP Glen MacPherson (Final Destination 4) shot the visually stunning fourth installment using a state-of-the-art 3D camera rig. Constantin Film produced Resident Evil: Afterlife while Davis Films and Impact Pictures co-produced.

After the successful collaboration on "Step Up 3D" Constantin Film's Distribution arm entrusted ARRI Film & TV again with the production of a teaser/trailer and the release prints for the 2D and 3D release of Resident Evil: Afterlife. For all formats ARRI Film & TV created the needed 2D/3D digital cinema masters, including the key management, as well as the digital and analogue release packages and prints.

In the first three installments of the tremendously successful Resident Evil franchise the seemingly invincible zombie killer Alice (Milla Jovovich) faces one harrowing situation after another in her battle against the sinister Umbrella Corporation. Above all she has to deal with murderous bands of zombies created by some of the Umbrella Corporations experiments. In the fourth installment, Resident Evil: Afterlife, the franchise enters a completely new dimension, featuring stunts and effects that are more spectacular than ever before and this time - in 3D.

The fight must go on! The Umbrella Corporation has triggered an apocalypse, infecting almost the entire human population with a virus and turning them into the murderous zombies. Alice (Milla Jovovich), searching for other survivors, prepares to destroy this ruthless corporation once and for all. In the hope of finding the last remaining humans in an oasis of peace, she heads to Los Angeles. But it's too late! Even LA is now inhabited by thousands of infected people. Alice and her companions face a seemingly hopeless and potentially deadly situation...
