Werner - Eiskalt! is the fifth Werner film based on Rötger "Brösel" Feldmann's famous comic book. Rötger Feldmann, Thomas Platt and Herman Weigel are the trio behind the screenplay. Rötger Feldmann co-directed this fast-paced Werner adventure, set against the backdrop of German history, with Gernot Roll, the director and DoP of the live action sequences. Werner - Eiskalt! is a Constantin Film production co-produced by Little Shark Entertainment. The film is distributed locally by Constantin Film.
Once again, Constantin Film relied on ARRI Film & TV's services, including Avid, Digital Intermediate, grading, VFX and lab work for the feature, as well as the teaser and trailer. ARRI Rental supplied camera (ARRIFLEXD-21), lighting and grip equipment.

Another time a party, hosted by the police to honor Werner, the outlaw, for holding a record number of traffic violations, ends in chaos and destruction. But when Brösel finally finishes committing all these memories and events to paper, he realizes - to his horror - that no one cares about his oeuvre - manga mania has won. On Corsica things end in catastrophe for the illustrator during a swimming accident. A jackknife into shallow waters puts him out of commission. The news of the artist's demise leads to a grand revival of his work, which his publisher, Hermann Seidel, shamelessly exploits. But there's no stopping Brösel, who turns out to be a diehard ...
