The team behind the 2008 box office hit Freche Mädchen, which made millions, have continued their successful collaboration. Again, Ulrich Limmer's collina filmproduktion (Sams in Gefahr, Der Räuber Hotzenplotz, Herr Bello) produced Freche Mädchen 2 with Constantin Film. Ute Wieland returned to direct and Maggie Peren to write the script. DoP Peter Przybylski also came back onboard.

collina filmproduktion  entrusted  ARRI Film & TV with the entire postproduction work including: lab,  DI, visual effects, titles, sound, HD Mastering and the DCP.

The harmonious collaboration of ARRI Film & TV, director Ute Wieland and producer Ulrich Limmer over the course of many years and projects continues through to visual effects, which are distinguished not only by the highest technological competence, but also by the creation of narrative and visual elements. The sequel to the teen comedy Freche Mädchen is yet another example thereof: 89 VFX shots were conceived, developed and designed. After reading the screenplay, VFX Producer Nina Knott  and Creative Director Jürgen Schopper came up with preliminary creative ideas and a cost estimate. One of the tasks was to turn the lead actress, Emilia Schüle, into the little "angel & devil" creature, which appears throughout the film as her good or bad conscience. This was accomplished by combining green screen shots of the young actress with computer-animated cloud and fire elements. Visual Effects Supervisor Stefan Tischner and his VFX team were responsible for the execution of these, as well as other sequences, such as a digital thunderstorm. Lutz Lemke was in charge of creating the animated titles. And once again, true to the motto: "Never change a winning team," digital color grading was in Traudl Nicholson's creative hands, while Tschangis Chahrokh-Zadeh was responsible for the sound mix.

ARRI Rental supplied camera (3-Perforation), lighting- and grip equipment. The film was shot on ARRICAM LT, ARRICAM ST.

Oh boy ! - A moment ago the "cheeky girls" were head over heels in love but suddenly, all these feelings have gotten mixed up. Mila (EMILIA SCHÜLE) had gotten into an argument with Markus (JONATHAN BECK) and now, while she, Hanna (SELINA SHIRIN MÜLLER) and Kati (HENRIETTE NAGEL) are on a trip to the Bavarian mountains with their choir, her arch nemesis Vanessa (CHRISTINA PEIFER) is vacationing at Markus's horse ranch. Mila is seething with jealousy. Hanna and Kati, meanwhile, have other problems: Branko (BEN UNTERKOFLER) wants to support Hanna's musical career but they soon find themselves quarreling and Kati is completely confused: is Tobi (VINCENT BRUDER) still the  most "crush worthy" guy in her life or is the attractive and, most of all, older Robert (DENNIS HERRMANN) much cooler? And so the school's anniversary celebration is an emotional finale for everyone involved. But how wonderful that amidst all this chaos, the girls can be sure of one thing: their 'cheeky' girl friendship!
