More Creativity and More Service for the Film Capital Berlin

"Berlin's film landscape experiences a great influx of young creative talent, has a special energy and changes constantly. It is considered to be the capital of the film business and therefore becomes increasingly interesting for local and international productions," explains Mandy Rahn, Branch Manager of ARRI Film & TV when talking about the Berlin market. Accommodating the request of many productions - to have the entire range of ARRI services in the quality they've grown accustomed to available right here in Berlin - ARRI Film & TV Services GmbH expanded its local sound and visual effects departments. Together with Munich's Film- & Fernseh-Synchron GmbH (FFS), ARRI took over the technological infrastructure and part of the premises of the now defunct Elektrofilm Post Production facilities, Hohenzollerndamm 150.

An increasing number of local as well as international productions opt for Berlin highlighting the important growth factor the capital signifies for the film business. ARRI Film & TV has responded to this growing demand and to their local customers' wishes to complete their projects entirely at ARRI's facilities in town. And so, true to the company's philosophy - "The Best Support Your Vision Can Get" - ARRI Film & TV Services Berlin expanded its sound post production and re-recording services (primarily focusing on the final mix). Furthermore, creative talent and production companies can, together with the ARRI team, look forward to new opportunities in other post production realms as well because the visual effects department will also expand. Branch Manager Mandy Rahn: "Broadening the creative and technological post production capabilities here at our local facilities enables us in the future to respond in a timely much more effective and flexible manner to our customers' wishes."

It is important to ARRI Film & TV Services Berlin to provide the same level and range of services - in the quality ARRI stands for - as the parent company in Munich. For that reason, ARRI Schwarzfilm Berlin GmbH is, as of July 1, 2010, doing business as ARRI Film & TV Services Berlin GmbH.

ARRI values its customers' trust in its post production services and continues to increase its national presences outside of Munich, Berlin and Cologne and to provide services of the best quality in the main film regions.
