German Newsletter Esteemed clients, dear friends of ARRI,
We are proud to inform you in today's newsletter that as of May 1, 2011, Josef Reidinger has assumed the general manager duties at ARRI Film & TV Services GmbH. We wish Mr. Reidinger all the best in his new function in a familiar environment, and would like to welcome him back on behalf of the entire staff.
All the best,
Franz Kraus and Dr. Martin Prillmann Josef Reidinger back on board again
Josef Reidinger (52) has assumed the general manager duties at ARRI Film & TV Services GmbH as of May 1, 2011, succeeding Thomas Till, who departed in early 2011. He returns to the Türkenstraße in Munich, the place he called his professional home for many years until he left in early 2009 to head postproduction at the Constantin Film Group. As the general manager of ARRI Film & TV, he will be responsible for Munich, Berlin and Cologne. "We are very happy to have Josef Reidinger back on board," says Franz Kraus, managing director of the ARRI AG. "He possesses an incredible wealth of experience in all aspects of postproduction and in many areas of filmmaking in general, and clients and staff alike hold him in high regard." Dr. Martin Prillmann, also managing director of the ARRI AG, adds: "I am convinced that Mr. Reidinger will lead and advance the postproduction arm of our company - a realm that is currently undergoing massive changes everywhere - with foresight and understanding."
Josef Reidinger moved up the ranks on the lab side of the business and, during his previous involvement at ARRI, he led the staff, first in his capacity as head of the lab and later as head of postproduction, from the analogue to the digital world. The experience he gained on the production side over the course of the past two years at Constantin Film will come in handy in his new capacity. Regarding his new role as general manager, Josef Reidinger says, "I'm looking forward to the challenges involved in strengthening and expanding ARRI Film & TV's position as the leading postproduction house in Germany in collaboration with the management and the staff. The main items on the agenda are current issues, such as Stereo 3D, the switch from analogue to digital acquisition and distribution and the technological changes in postproduction. It is my goal not only to work even more closely and in a more project-oriented manner with our current clients, but also to tap into new markets." |
